If your models already live in Excel, Floom meets you there. Instead of copy-pasting numbers out of the platform, you bring them into your workbook as live data — and when you spot something to fix, you send it back to Floom for review without ever leaving the sheet.
It works two ways: pull in, and push out. Here's the idea in motion.

↑ Data lands in your workbook live, and edits flow back to Floom for review.
Before you start
Two things:
Excel with add-ins
Microsoft 365 Excel — on the web, Windows, or Mac. A Microsoft 365 admin may need to allow the Floom add-in for your organization first.
A Floom account
You sign in with your normal Floom login (SSO included). The add-in only ever shows the data you already have access to in Floom.
How it works
Open the Floom panel & sign in
On Excel's Home tab, click Floom to open the side panel, then Sign in with Floom. You'll stay signed in across sessions.
Bring your data into the sheet
From the panel, drop your portfolio data straight into the workbook — companies, metrics, whatever you're modelling. It arrives as live values you can refresh whenever you want the latest.
Send updates back to Floom
Spotted a number that needs fixing? Push it back out to Floom right from the sheet. Changes are reviewed before anything is applied, so nothing lands in Floom by accident.
Pull in, push out
Both directions run through your own Floom login — you only ever see and touch the data you already have access to.
Pull data in
Bring your portfolio into the workbook as live values, and refresh to get the latest at any time.
Push updates out
Send corrected numbers back to Floom from the sheet — reviewed before anything is applied.
Good to know
- It's live. Data pulled into your workbook stays connected to Floom — refresh whenever you want the current numbers.
- Only your data. The add-in uses your Floom login, so it shows exactly what you can already see in the platform — nothing more.
- Nothing changes by accident. Anything you push out is reviewed before it's applied in Floom, and it's reversible.
Don't see the Floom button on the Home tab? The add-in may not be installed for your Excel yet. A Microsoft 365 admin can add it for your organization — or email us and we'll help you get set up.
Bring Floom into your models
Already on Floom? Open the Home tab and look for the Floom button. New here? Book a walkthrough and we'll get the add-in and your portfolio set up together.
